" Serge I, as a solo artist shows an eclectic personality through swinging rhymes, rythmes, and melodies. "
Serge I fulfilled his passion for music by starting his first band at age 17. With 2 members of the band, they moved to the South of France where they started to perform in pubs and festivals. Alongside performances, Serge I entered the Conservatory of Music (CNR - designation - ) where he pursued a classical training, and grew interest in Jazz music. By including all these musical influences into his work and performances, he came back in Paris where he started to be noticed for his versatile abilities in very distinct musical genres : from Caribbean music in the Dédé St Prix’s orchestra to Ragga Muffin alongside Daddy Yod. Later on, he was designated as a guitar lead to promote the soundtrack of the best selling Disney production of all time : The Lion King, where he performed with Jimmy Cliff, Angelique Kidjo and Debbie Davis. As far as his musical trajectory and influences guided him, Serge I, as a solo artist shows an eclectic personality through swinging rhymes, rythmes, and melodies.
